Coded Musical Visualizer (2020)
A browser-based audio visualizer built from scratch using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and P5.js. The visualizer reads live audio FFT data to drive a color-reactive spectrum wheel, with dots mapping beat patterns across time. Three modes — Vibrant, Dull, and Dark — allows users to test how color temperature shifts their emotional read of the same song. An early exploration of how design choices shape the way we hear music.
‘Machine is Music’ (2023)
A multi-method exploration of audiovisualization, comparing what different tools — code, 3D software, and AI, can and can't do when tasked with making music visible. I built a music visualizer in Blender using audio-reactive particle systems, one in JavaScript, and one using AI-assisted generation, then edited them together to see where each approach succeeded and where it fell flat. Made with P5.js, Blender, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
‘WaterLeveL.EXE- Rockband:REWIRED’ (2024)
A live audiovisual performance built around a rewired RockBand guitar connected to Ableton Live and TouchDesigner. I composed the original track, designed five mappable sounds, and built visual systems in TouchDesigner that respond to live audio data in real time — colors, shapes, and beats linked to each instrument. A showcase of what live AV can feel like when the instrument is the interface.
